Unicum is a herb liqueur that, according to legend, was first created in 1790 by Dr. Zwack. The production process and the secret recipe have remained unchanged ever since, guarded to this day by the 6th generation of the Zwack family. It contains more than 40 different herbs and spices imported from all over the world, ranging from neighboring countries to exotic lands. The distinctive character of Unicum is brought to perfection through aging in oak casks.
